“Very useful and enjoyable” Roz Duffin, Colyton Gramma School

Our inset days exploring Our Country’s Good proved successful and popular, so we’re arranging another opportunity for you to take part. Join Max Stafford-Clark and special guests from our most recent production for a day at Out of Joint HQ, looking at the history of Our Country’s Good, Max’s rehearsal methods, and how you and your students can make the most of this much-studied play. The day will be held at our rehearsal room in Finsbury Park, North London, which has excellent transport links.

The event will cost £150, run from 11am – 5pm, and we will provide lunch.

“The most inspiring and fun INSET ever. Max is such a fascinating fund of practical, and academic, knowledge” Caroline Fooks, Reading School

“A great day. A genuine privilege” Jeremy Eden, Hayes School Bromley

“I have been a teacher for nearly 20 years and have attended many and various training days but the session at Out Of Joint was the most enjoyable, useful and genuinely inspiring that I have experienced” Lucy Huntbach, Salford City College

“I found the exercises that Max introduced us to using the playing cards absolutely brilliant and have used the ‘class teacher and disruptive students’ improvisation already.  The students loved it and it has really helped them understand the concept of using them in rehearsal” Penny Thane, Grey Coat Hospital
